The Disability Council aims to raise awareness of universal design—a design principle broader than mere accessibility—with the goal of creating inclusive urban spaces that accommodate the needs of all people, both with and without disabilities.
The event features presentations from universal design coordinators from Copenhagen Municipality, who will share insights on how they work with universal design, including their collaboration with the Bevica Foundation. Following this, the non-profit organization Building Diversity will present their work on contributing to a diverse and inclusive built environment.
