At Building Diversity we strive for as many people as possible to be able to access and use our website. This page describes the changes we have implemented on buildingdiversity.dk, a roadmap on how we plan to increase the accessibility, and how you can report deficiencies to us, so that we can address them.

We are continuously working to improve the accessibility of our website. If you discover issues that are not described on this page you can contact us at contact@buildingdiversity.dk and provide the following:

Whether the issue concerns the entire website or a specific page.
What you were trying to do.
What went wrong.

This information is important for our ongoing accessibility efforts.

Where we are working to do better

We have used a website accessibility checker to assess buildingdiversity.com. We are aware and currently brainstorming how to resolve the following issues:

Very low contrast between text and background image on the landing page.
We will add descriptive captions to all the images and graphics across our website to provide context for screen readers.
We will add short descriptions beneath important images for users who may experience low contrast, visual impairments, other.

As volunteers we strive to do our best. We will try and resolve issues as soon as we can, but if there is anything you notice is off and not yet in the “working to improve” section or would like to leave a comment, please reach out to contact@buildingdiversity.dk
